Didn’t want you till I met

Didn’t need you in my life

Didn’t need the hurt and pain

I didn’t need the strife

Never wanted you to kiss me

Until I felt your lips

Never wanted you to hold me

Till your hands were on my hips

Never wanted you to leave me

Didn’t want to say goodbye

Never wanted you to go away

Didn’t want to have to cry

Didn’t want to hurt you

Never thought of it at all

Never knew that this would happen

Didn't think that I would fall

Sad huh?  Sorry I've been sick the last couple days so I haven't been much in the blogging mood... truth is I'm not right now either lol.  But I thought the least I could do was post a poem... This is an old one but one of my favorites.   Reminds me of that old adage "You can't help who you fall in love with,"
  and it's true.  You can know someone is absolutely wrong for you... but you want them anyway... It's why wives stay in abusive relationships or with cheating husbands.  Sometimes we are willing to forgive pretty much anything of the ones we love.
